Inklings.TV founders Naomi and Carrie met in March through work. It was during a discussion that revealed that they both archive their old issues of Alternative Press in chronological order, that they realized they were the same person. They started Inklings as a way to shed more light on the up-and-comers in the music industry.
WHAT DOES INKLINGS MEAN?
In addition to being the name of the concert venue Naomi used to book shows at in college, The Inklings was the name of a literary discussion group associated with the University of Oxford. The group, which met between the 1930s and 1960s, consisted of literary enthusiasts who read their unfinished works aloud to each other. Members of The Inklings included J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.
